Benny Snell officially signs with Pittsburgh (Sorry, Bengals fans)
Benny Snell is officially a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers. To the many Cincinnati Bengals fans who are reading this right now, I am truly sorry.
The 122nd pick in the draft, Snell inked a four-year deal with his new team, the Steelers announced Wednesday morning. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but I can tell you the 122nd pick in last year’s draft, Kenny Young of the Baltimore Ravens, signed a four-year deal worth $3,099,900 plus a $639,900 signing bonus. That should give you an idea of where Snell’s payday stands.
Snell reports to Steelers rookie camp on Friday. His jersey number has still not been confirmed, but he has made it very clear he wants Le’Veon Bell’s old No. 26.
