Will sports gambling soon be legal in Kentucky? The topic was under discussion in Frankfort this morning, with Representative Adam Koenig presenting House Bill 175, which would legalize, regulate, and tax sports gambling, online poker,Blackjack online, and fantasy sports in Kentucky. Let’s get to know a little bit about it. Are you involved in the Washington DC legal community? Do you need to take your career to the next level, or are you looking to hire someone to fill a legal position within your company or law firm? Search for headhunters in DC for help you.

No gambling on UK or UofL games

According to Joe Sonka, the bill would allow gambling on everything BUT college games involving a Kentucky university. So, only betting on your Cats or against the Cards available on Agen Slot. Koenig’s explanation for this was that it could open up the possibility of local corruption and bribery.

Bets can be placed at horse racing tracks and the Kentucky Speedway

Under the bill, people can bet on sports at licensed horse racing tracks, and many other games just by visiting  dominoqq. however, Kentuckians can also go to one of those venues and download a mobile app which would allow them to bet from anywhere. By making people download the app in person, officials will be able to verify their age and eligibility. A representative from FanDuel was present and argued that their app already does this.

It’s not a perfect bill, but it’s a start, right? The committee will meet again next week, at which point members can take up a vote. To learn more about the bill, check out Joe Sonka’s article at the link below.
