BJ Boston, Terrence Clarke, and Lance Ware named to 2020 Iverson Classic

Three Kentucky basketball signees are set to participate in the 2020 Allen Iverson Roundball Classic in April.

This afternoon, future Wildcats BJ Boston, Terrence Clarke, and Lance Ware were all named to the Iverson Classic, which is set to take place in Wilmington, DE from April 22-24.

The trio of Kentucky signees will be joined by the likes of Evan Mobley, Makur Maker, Josh Christopher, Jalen Johnson, Ziaire Williams, Jalen Suggs, DJ Steward, and Cliff Omoruyi, among other high-profile prospects in the class of 2020.

Last season, Kahlil Whitney was the lone Wildcat to participate in the event.

The events will begin on Wednesday, April 22, featuring a dunk contest, 3-point shootout, and 1-on-1 competitions, among others. From there, the game – which will be dedicated to Kobe and Gianna Bryant – will be held at the 76ers Fieldhouse Arena in Wilmington, DE on April 24.

Boston and Clarke were also named to the McDonald’s All-American Game, which is scheduled for April 1 in Houston, TX. The Jordan Brand Classic is also expected to take place in mid-April, with rosters expected to be released in the coming weeks.
