GOT1 The fifth season of Game of Thrones, HBO's thinly-disguised Dungeons & Dragons rip-off (just kidding!), premieres April 12. That means it's time for everyone who watches the show in real time to start trying to remember what the hell is going on with each of the its 7,000 characters, while people who refuse to consume great television as it airs once again transform into insufferable adult-babies who run around crying about OMG SPOILERS!!! Entertainment Weekly -- a publication that, at one point in time, you could accurately describe as a "magazine," but which following the long, slow death of the the print industry now more closely resembles a tri-fold brochure with pictures of famous people -- recently sat down with some of GOT's key cast members and challenged them with the nearly impossible task of summarizing the show's first four seasons in 30 seconds or less. As you'll see in the video below, it went about as well as you'd expect: https://youtu.be/n4SYWyRuXW4 Emilia Clarke, who plays dragon-MILF Daenerys Targaryen, probably comes out on top here, as her description of "blood, death, boobs" not only captures the true essence of GOT, but also would make for an awesome line of T-shirts sold exclusively at Hot Topic. That said, I think Peter Dinklage should set up meetings and pitch his version of the show to some Hollywood big-wigs, because it sounds like a fun concept. If you can't get enough of put-upon actors half-heartedly answering questions for some dumb magazine before they trudge off set to bathe in vats of money or hang out with the guy who plays Turtle in Entourage or whatever it is celebrities do when they aren't playing make believe in front of the camera, here's another clip from EW where the actors talk about someone their characters would like to fight: https://youtu.be/AacO_QR_nek Riveting stuff. Just an A+ effort all around. Including this post. SG1   @TheSEShepherd
