Blue Arby's near Kentucky's campus closes
If you’ve ever been around UK’s campus, you’ve seen the Blue Arby’s on Limestone across from campus. Built in 1994, the building has stood as an homage to the Wildcats, bucking the traditional Arby’s red for Kentucky blue…until now.
The Herald-Leader is reporting that the Blue Arby’s has closed, the second location to shutter its doors this year. Don’t worry; there are still nine Arby’s across Lexington, so plenty of places to get your curly fry fix. Given all the changes happening around Kentucky’s campus, it’s not really that surprising, and I don’t think I ever ate there, but looking at the pictures on the Herald-Leader’s website still made me a little sad.
