The Kentucky football team will the road for the third time this season in Week 10 as the Cats head to Jordan-Hare Stadium for the first time since 2020. For the first time since 2009, the Big Blue will be playing in front of a full crowd at one of the best venues in the Southeastern Conference. UK will need a better defensive performance that it got last week at home against Tennessee.

Defensive coordinator Brad White was embarrassed by his unit’s performance last week.

“It’s not just about wins and losses, in terms of performance matters. You can win a game and feel really bad about how you played. And you can lose a game, and not be satisfied with a loss, but you can be satisfied with the way you performed as an individual, a group. Not from a moral victory standpoint, but from a performance standpoint. And, so, there’s a lot of embarrassment and humility coming out of Saturday,” White said. “On all levels — starting with me.”

There are still five games left to play. Kentucky’s defense will get at least 20 more quarters to show that the performance against Tennessee is not who they are. On Wednesday, White spoke with the media along with starting linebackers Alex Afari Jr. and Daveren Rayner as the Cats look to bounce-back against Auburn and get the bad taste out of their mouth. This unit is once again trying to get off the mat after another humbling performance.
