Knight was involved in an offseason trade that sent him and forward Marqueese Chriss to the Rockets in exchange for Ryan Anderson and De’Anthony Melton.
Knight underwent surgery on his right knee back in the summer of 2017 to mend a torn ACL but a post-surgery infection had delayed his rehabilitation process.
