bbnba-liggins Breaking News: The Cleveland Cavaliers have officially released DeAndre Liggins. The sudden release, just days prior to the NBA Playoffs, has caused some shockwaves around the Cleveland fan base. Liggins played in 61 games for the Cavs this season, averaging only 2.4 points per game. Liggins' defense, however, was the main reason for his playing time. Liggins was a major contributor for the Cavs' reserve defense, which may be the reason for many fans' dismay. The move opens up a roster spot for a potential addition of another big man in Cleveland. Unfortunately, it was a former Wildcat getting the worse end of the deal. Hopefully another NBA team has a role for DeAndre in the near future.
