Just imagine Zeke looks kinda like this. When reading through game threads throughout the season, and especially during losses, fans often use the excuse "If we played Ole Miss 10 times, we'd beat them 9." Who gives a damn frankly, as they Cats only get one chance against the Rebels, or Cards, or Canes, and they lost.  BUT, I thought it would be interesting to get you take as to how many times the Cats would win against each SEC school over a 10-game series.  Assume each team gets 5 home games each.  My picks: Georgia: 10 out of 10 Auburn: 9 out of 10 (5 at Rupp and 4 in Auburn) Vandy: 9 out of 10 (5 at Rupp and 4 in Nashville) Alabama: 8 out of 10 (5 at Rupp and 3 in Tuscaloosa) South Carolina: 8 out of 10 (5 at Rupp and 3 in Columbia) Ole Miss: 8 out of 10 (5 at Rupp and 3 in Oxford) Arkansas: 8 out of 10 (5 at Rupp and 3 in Fayetteville) Mississippi St.: 7 out of 10 (5 at Rupp and 2 in Starkville) Tennessee: 7 out 10 (4 at Rupp and 3 in Knoxville) LSU: 6 out of 10 (4 at Rupp and 2 in Baton Rouge) Florida: 5 out of 10 (4 at Rupp and 1 in Florida) 1. Stewart Mandel of cnnsi.com just recently published an article about the absurd amount of bank Tennessee has dished out to it's assistant football coaches.  And they have plucked top recruiters from at least 3 other SEC schools to hopefully boost their recruiting.  That spells trouble for UK, because currently there are only 2 SEC East programs that are FAR superior to the Cats (Florida and Georgia).  If Tennessee jumps back into that top teir mix, it hurts the Cats.  Of course, UK hasn't been able to beat even average UT teams, so that is probably a stupid theory. 2. Hey, congrats to Wake is taking down Duke on Wednesday night.  Great game.  But, I want to remind fans of both fanbases of a better time and place.  For Wake, 1993.  For Duke 1998. 3. If you didn't know, Rex Chapman's son is quite the high school basketball player in Arizona.  And it has been announced he will play in a Christmas tournament this year in Louisville.  Keep an eye out for Zeke Chapman.
