Bush Pardons a Rapper
I always like the end of a Presidential term when random people get pardoned for reasons that are often hard to understand. Usually they are some relation to a big donor or an individual who has been in jail for a long time for a relatively small crime. Then there is this. Yesterday President Bush communted the sentence of John Forte of the Fugees. Yes you read that correctly….W pardoned a Fugee. Did you ever think you would read that sentence? Forte had been sentenced to 14 years after being arrested with 1.4 million bucks worth of cocaine in an airport. I mean seriously….could there be a more bizarre result? Now Bush should take the immortal words of a Fugees song and apply it to Bin Laden….
“Ready or not, here I come, you cant hide……gonna find you….and make you want me.” (ok well maybe not the last part)
