Cal preparing an "inevitable departure"?
Is Coach Cal leaving Kentucky? Recently, many conversations have included John Calipari and the NBA in the same sentence although Cal quickly denied any desire to depart from the BBN...immediately at least.
Cal recently said he has worked too hard to get where he is at and he is happy here. But that is for now and Cal seems to have a solid NBA ready résumé which could continue to strike NBA interest in Cal. For now, Coach Cal seems to be content here but stated he can't do the job of preparing people forever. With that being said, I still think it's safe to say he should be in Kentucky blue for at least a couple more seasons.
