Is Caleb Wilson trolling Kentucky fans with his class of 2025 starting 5?

Caleb Wilson is committed to North Carolina, but you wouldn’t know it after hearing him list his favorite players from the 2025 recruiting class.
In a TikTok posted Wednesday by brhoops, Wilson was asked to name his starting five recruits from the 2025 cycle. He responded by listing off all three of Kentucky’s 2025 signees, along with one of the Wildcats’ top remaining targets from the same class in five-star wing Nate Ament. Not mentioned? Any of his future teammates in Chapel Hill.
“I put Acaden Lewis at the one, Jasper Johnson at the two, me at the three, Nate Ament at the four, and Malachi Moreno at the five,” Wilson said.
Interesting…
Keep in mind North Carolina has two commits locked up in addition to Wilson for the 2025 recruiting class. They would be four-star guards Derek Dixon and Isaiah Denis — neither is ranked higher than Kentucky’s lowest commit though. But Wilson failed to mention the guys he’ll be playing alongside next season, instead listing off all the ones he could have teamed up with.

This doesn’t appear to be the case of an old video resurfacing either. Wilson is rocking a UNC hat and shirt in the short clip. He announced his commitment to the Tar Heels over Kentucky just six days ago. But less than a week later, the five-star power forward is still thinking about the ‘Cats.
Is Wilson just trolling the Big Blue Nation with this answer? Or is it something deeper than that? Hm…
