Cats in the NFL Week 8 Preview

by:Brent Wainscott11/01/20
Week 8 in the NFL is finally here and we've got a big showdown in Baltimore involving two former 'Cats. Bud Dupree, Benny Snell, and the Pittsburgh Steelers look to remain undefeated against reigning the MVP and division champs; Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens. The Raves are coming off a bye which gives them a slight advantage over the Steelers, but as I've said all year, that Steelers defense is legit. Bud Dupree has been on a tear, and Benny Snell has found the endzone twice in each of the last two weeks. It will be a heck of a showdown in the 1 o'clock window. The Chicago Bears and New Orleans Saints have an interesting matchup this afternoon in the windy city in a game that will prove who is or isn't a contender this season. Danny Trevathan and the Bears will have their work cut out for them against Alvin Kamara, Drew Brees, and NOLA. Shield your eyes from the Chiefs/Jets game. It will be brutal, but New York's Avery Williamson might finish with a lot of tackles because that Kansas City offense will have PLENTY of chances to score today. Finally, we'll see if Mike Edwards can stay hot against a struggling New York Giants offense on Monday night. In the last two weeks, Edwards has two tackles, an interception, and a pass break up that lead to another interception for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Go Cats.
