Our good friend — OK, your good friend — Matt Jones was so kind as to join me on my radio program, The Morning Jones, on Sirius Channel 98, Hardcore Sports Radio (which you can also subscribe to at the iTunes Store).
From Matt, I learned the true damage of Rick Pitino’s actions. I had no idea he had totally besmirched one of the go-to date restaurants in Louisville. Poor Matt is relegated to taking ’em to O’Charley’s (but only after they refill the salt and pepper shakers). Now, if you take a lady to Porcini’s, or however you spell it, she’s gonna think you the she…on the floor…with…in the next booth…then…$3,000.
Not a good look, man. Not at all.
I’m sorry to hear that Pitino has done this. He did that to fans of all persuasions, anyone looking to treat a nice young lady with some respect. And trying to get something in return.
Rick’s blocking on everyone. That damage may never be undone.
