Chris Rodriguez made what could be his final game in a Kentucky uniform count. The senior running back had 24 carries for 120 yards in the 26-13 victory over Louisville. He now has 20 100-yard rushing games as a Wildcat, which is a new Kentucky record. Coming into today, Rodriguez was tied with Benny Snell at 19. This season, C-Rod has crossed the 100-yard mark five times, and that’s after missing the first four games.

Rodriguez’s 3,644 career yards rank third on Kentucky’s all-time list behind Benny Snell (3,873) and Sonny Collins (3,835). He needs 230 yards to beat Benny’s record. His 32 career rushing touchdowns rank second behind Snell’s 48. In his three games vs. Louisville, Rodriguez has 40 rushes for 366 yards and two touchdowns. That’s an average of 9.2 yards per carry.

Whether or not C-Rod plays in Kentucky’s bowl game remains unknown; one thing I can say with certainty is that one way or another, we’ll miss him in blue and white.
