Do you want to support the Mark Pope era of Kentucky Basketball? Club Blue, one of UK’s collectives, just created the perfect promo for fans to help the program with Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL).

Today, Club Blue introduced the Pope $41 package, a monthly membership with 100% of subscription proceeds going to Kentucky Men’s Basketball NIL. For $41 per month (a nod to his old jersey number, of course), subscribers will receive a signed print from Pope along with other Club Blue subscriber benefits.

Mark Pope’s NIL fundraising off to a strong start

Kentucky donors are all in on Mark Pope. Just before he was officially announced as Kentucky’s new coach on Friday morning, the program received a $4 million donation from two donors. After Mitch Barnhart mentioned Club Blue during his interview on KSR on Friday, the collective added 500 new monthly subscribers in 20 minutes. Even before the Pope $41 promo was announced, Matt Jones was hearing that more help was on the way.

“Everyone is coming out of the woodwork to try to be a part of this, meaning not just the players, but donors,” Jones said. “You are going to see an influx of donations, the likes of which you haven’t before.”

Jones said that boosters are so united that a new practice facility could be coming down the pipeline.

“It would not shock me if, within a few months, we hear about a practice facility, which probably would make Cal’s head explode, but it wouldn’t shock me. I’m not saying that’s definitely gonna happen but it wouldn’t it wouldn’t shock me.”

That would be very exciting but if you’d like to help the program right now, the Pope $41 package is a great start.
