Could Georgia Amoore be Kenny Brooks' successor as head coach of Kentucky WBB?

It’s well-documented that Kenny Brooks and Georgia Amoore have a very, very unique relationship with each other — one where Amoore would sometimes be as much of a coach as she was a player. The All-American point guard often sat in on coaches meetings and film sessions to strengthen her knowledge of the game.
That allowed her to be an even better floor general than she already was. Her basketball IQ is practically unrivaled, and her peers in the WNBA have taken notice of that.
Amoore even received votes for “Which active player will make the best head coach someday?” in a recent poll.
Las Vegas Aces guard Chelsea Gray garnered 36% of the votes, the most of any player. Courtney Vandersloot of the Chicago Sky came in second with 18% of the votes. Amoore was among the many names in the “also receiving votes” category.
However, she was the only rookie featured on the list, which when you think about it, is kind of incredible.

“I definitely want to coach. Yeah, for sure,” Amoore said following the Purdue game. “I didn’t want to maybe my sophomore year, and then the more I grow and the more I love the game for what it is and not how I play, I’m like ‘Yeah, I want to coach’.”
Perhaps the Wildcat legend could return to Lexington and run the show down the line, finishing the job that she started — hanging a banner in Historic Memorial Coliseum.
