Kentucky is set to host blue-chip QB Cutter Boley for unofficial visit

Quarterback recruiting truly never stops in college football. In Kentucky’s backyard, there is a big prospect that is generating a lot of buzz on the recruiting trail.
Lexington (Ky.) Christian Academy (LCA) quarterback Cutter Boley is a rising sophomore in the class of 2025 who has received multiple Power Five offers. Mississippi State was the latest to join the party by offering the four-star recruit on Tuesday.
After a report that Michigan could be out to an early lead in this recruitment, Kentucky’s coaching staff is working hard in this recruitment. Boley camped at Kentucky back in June and will return to campus this weekend to take an unofficial visit for the season opener, per Allen Trieu of 247 Sports. Per Boley, this is the only currently scheduled trip for the fall.
In his first game with LCA, Cutter Boley flashed a huge arm on multiple vertical throws in a very close loss to Richmond (Ky.) Madison Central. The quarterback has some big-time physical traits with good physical stature, a strong arm, and underrated movement ability. Boley is trending to be a top-100 prospect.

This is a must-get on the recruiting for offensive coordinator Rich Scangarello and the rest of the Kentucky recruiting staff. Getting the prospect on campus again is a very good development. Over the next couple of years, this is going to be a huge recruitment as Kentucky looks to keep a handful of big-time programs away from the state’s first blue-chip quarterback since Drew Barker.
“Coming from the league, coming from the pros, (Scangarello’s) pro-style type of offense definitely is intriguing to me,” Boley told On3’s Chad Simmons last week. “It definitely feel(s) like that’s an offense that I feel like I can be comfortable in and I can excel in.”
Getting Boley on campus for visits as many times as possible will be crucial for Kentucky football over the next couple of seasons.
