They're in love, they're in love and they don't care who knows it! Just kidding...kind of. The
Bleacher Report posted an article over the weekend regaling the tales of Devin Booker and Tyler Ulis' long lasting (and admittedly adorable) bromance.
The former Wildcats, now Phoenix Suns, have proven to be great teammates on and off the court. When Tyler Ulis was
drafted by the Phoenix Suns with the 34th pick in the second round, the two had a second chance at chasing a dream together.
"I thought I'd be playing against him, not with him," Booker said in the article,
"It's crazy how that worked out."
Booker made quite the case for Ulis' addition to the Phoenix Suns. Ulis surprisingly slipped in the draft probably because reports surfaced earlier in the week about possible hip issues. Booker continued to make his case to Suns general manager Ryan McDonough. Ulis' hard work paid off, and the two were reunited as teammates once again, forming the back court of the Suns.
"It's crazy how this worked out," Ulis said.
"There's no way we're on the same NBA team."
