You're going to see this Devin Booker Corona commercial a million times during March Madness

March Madness is a gift. The gift of endless hours of basketball is a joy, one that comes with some unintended consequences. Whether you like it or not, you’re going to be seeing A LOT of Devin Booker this month.
Since Turner took over broadcasting rights for the NCAA Tournament, we no longer rely on live look-ins to watch every game. However, if you’re not quick with the remote, you can slip and get stuck watching a ton of commercials. They gotta recoup that rights money somehow.
Like the Super Bowl, companies roll out new ad campaigns for the event. Unlike the Super Bowl, this event is a month long. We will be seeing these ads over and over and over again until one team is finally crowned National Champion.
Charles Barkley, Spike Lee and Samuel L. Jackson are already invading your screens representing Capital One. During conference tournament championship weekend we also got a taste of a new ad with Snoop Dogg, the face of Corona’s latest ad campaign. Before he makes an appearance, former Wildcat Devin Booker takes center stage, representing the Wildcats in a battle of Blue Bloods.

Booker plays it off, even though I do not appreciate the punchlines at his expense. A one-and-done jab from former Tar Heels Vince Carter is cute, but it does not cut as deep as Sue Bird’s undefeated line. And did we really need to see more Christian Laettner? I don’t think so.
Love it or hate it, get used to it. You’re going to see this Corona commercial approximately 972 more times before the conclusion of the NCAA Tournament.
