Rumors continue to swirl about Joker Phillips' abrupt resignation at Florida earlier today.
Football Scoop's Scott Roussel is reporting to that according to his sources,
Joker may have resigned over a "bump," which in recruiting circles means a brief, unplanned meeting with a recruit. Roussel says an example of a bump may be a coach going to a high school to meet a player's coach and get their transcript, running into that player in a hallway, and having a brief conversation. Although technically not allowed, it happens a lot.
Roussel's sources say that the "bump" in question was very minor, but another coach saw it, took a picture, and reported it:
