In terms of high school basketball, most of the eyes of Kentucky are focused on the Bill Keightley Hoopfest taking place in Marshall County, which features some of the top talent in not only the state, but the nation. But, a dominant Indiana team at Lawrence North is sure to grab the attention of plenty in the Bluegrass this year because it features a UK commit (Dominique Ferguson) and two U o L commits (Stephan Van Treese and Justin Martin).
The No. 1 Wildcats (ranked #7 in the Midwest by USA Today) were upset last night despite 15 points from Ferguson. It's worth noting that Van Treese shot a 17-foot airball in the waning moments to end North's chance at a comeback.

Morgan Newton was named to the All-State First Team.
