Duke takes the lead in Marques Bolden's Crystal Ball
It didn’t take long for the Marques Bolden recruitment to become the story at the McDonald’s All-American Game. Where Bolden will go dominated the media opportunity this morning, with Malik Monk actually putting Bolden on the spot during a video interview with Kyle Tucker.
“We talk to him every day, trying to get him. He’s playing us though,” Monk said. “He won’t tell us nothing, won’t say anything.”

Monk then shouted at the nearby Bolden, “Hey, you coming, right? Coming to Kentucky?”
Bolden responded, “I don’t know about all that,” and walked off laughing.
It’s clear that UK’s players are putting the full-court press on Bolden and it couldn’t come at a better time; after UK led his 247 Sports Crystal Ball for months, Duke just surged ahead…off a prediction from our own Drew Franklin:
Keep in mind that these are just guesses, and, in recruiting, anything can change at the drop of a hat. Especially when you’ve got De’Aaron Fox, Malik Monk, Bam Adebayo, and Sacha Killeya-Jones talking your ear off.
