ESPN breaks down the timeline of Jarren Williams' ridiculous recruitment
The 2019 college football season begins tonight, and former Kentucky commitment Jarren Williams is set to be under the national spotlight as the starting quarterback of Miami (FL).
With College GameDay at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom this morning to build the hype of Miami’s matchup against Florida at 7:00 p.m. ET, Williams was a popular topic of discussion throughout the show. In it, they talked about his tough battle with Tate Martell in Miami’s quarterback competition, along with his ultimate victory and why he came out on top.
After the show was over and the programming switched over to a high school matchup between St. Frances and Miami Central, they began the game by breaking down Miami (FL) and Williams’ starting debut.
In the process, ESPN showed a graphic highlighting just how ridiculous Williams’ recruitment was and Kentucky’s longtime involvement…

And they didn’t even factor in his back-and-forth transfer decision where he almost wound up in Lexington yet again this spring (I’m exhausted just thinking about it).
