Five College Football Bets To Make Over At MyBookie: Week 4

Last weekend we made a little money together with the Week 3 version of KSR’s Five College Football Bets To Make Over At MyBookie. It began with a perfect Friday night thanks to Florida State’s defeat of Louisville at Louisville and the degenerate play of FCS Merrimack College covering 28 points at Harvard in a game Harvard won in OT.

On Saturday, Georgia kept the streak going by easily covering the 24.5 points at South Carolina until overtime pushed WKU-Indiana over the point total in our first loss of the day, under 61 in that game (we had it until the very end).

Finally, Texas A&M narrowly covered at home versus our road dog Miami (+6.5) in a game with only 25 total points scored, bringing us to the combined 3-2 record.

Here are five new bets over at MyBookie, where promo code KSR doubles your deposit.

Florida (+10.5) at Tennessee

Tennessee is the better team here and Neyland Stadium will be rocking and kicking over spit cups for the 3:30 game on CBS, but the Gators’ 16-1 record in the last 17 games against the Vols is staring me right in the face. You mean I can get 10.5 points with the team that’s lost only once in the rivalry since 2004? Give me the Gators to put up a fight against its kid brother in Knoxville.

Arkansas (+2) vs. Texas A&M

We’re staying with a dog away from home and getting behind Sam Pittman’s Razorbacks against Jimbo Fisher’s Aggies in Dallas. A&M’s offense is bad and has already seen a quarterback change, while Arkansas brings a dangerous pass rush as college football’s current leader in sacks with 17 already this year. I think Arkansas will take advantage of the wounded Aggies.

Missouri (+7) at Auburn

Let’s stay in the SEC and with another road dog in the battle of two coaches who won’t be working where they’re working now for very much longer. At Auburn, Bryan Harsin is the betting favorite for the next college football coach to be fired, especially after the beating the Tigers took in the second half last week versus Penn State. I expect Auburn to underperform yet again this weekend in a game that it should win rather easily, but Missouri will hang around enough to turn up the heat on Harsin. Hey, maybe Mizzou will win and burn the whole thing down.

Oklahoma (-12.5) vs. Kansas State

Oklahoma made us some money as one of my Pick 3 plays last weekend and we’re riding the Sooner wave again in the return to Norman to host Kansas State. Dillon Gabriel is playing like he wants in the Heisman conversation and the Wildcats won’t be able to keep up.

UTEP-Boise State OVER 20.5 – FIRST HALF

Last Friday’s degenerate bet on Merrimack College worked out, so let’s run it back with a new play you won’t find anywhere else. We’re getting behind the over in the first half of Boise State at UTEP because Bradley Dale Peveto’s UTEP defense can’t stop the Broncos.

Remember Bradley Dale Peveto? Special teams coach for Mark Stoops in 2013. Anyway, go points.
