Five-star guard Tyler Dorsey decommits from Arizona

tyler-dorsey While it appears at the Cats are all-in on Malik Newman, a potential backup option opened up his recruitment yesterday.  Tyler Dorsey, the number 7 ranked player in the class of 2015 has decommited from the Wildcats of Arizona. While the national recruiting pundits have not pegged Kentucky as a player in Dorsey's recruitment, one would assume that he would be receptive if John Calipari came calling. Oddly enough, Duke, who already has a commitment from K's Golden Boy, Luke Kennard, figures to be a major player in Dorsey's commitment. Kennard, who was rumored to have chosen Duke for potential playing time, might not be pleased if a guard of Dorsey's caliber joined him in Durham. Considering Cal hasn't made contact with many guards in this class outside of Newman, it doesn't seem likely that Kentucky will become involved with the Dorsey. If all of our eggs ending up falling out of the Newman basket, Dorsey might be one to keep an eye on.
