Kentucky's ex-WR coach
Tommy Mainord has accepted another coaching job at the University of North Texas.
Mainord coached at UK for the past three seasons, but was let go last month along with offensive coordinator Shannon Dawson. Many thought Kentucky's receiving corp would be one of the team's strengths last year, but dropped passes and inconsistent play plagued the group throughout the seasn.
Mainord will assume the role of inside receiver's coach at North Texas. Previously, he worked as the outside receiver's coach at Texas Tech and as the offensive coordinator at Lamar.
