Today, the former Wildcat officially made the decision to leave the school and pursue his dream as a professional basketball player. Killeya-Jones made the following announcement on Twitter: https://twitter.com/SKJ/status/1101288480414539776 After the announcement, North Carolina State head coach Kevin Keatts gave Killeya-Jones his well-wishes. "I wish Sacha all the best in his future endeavors," he said. "I pray he finds both success and happiness in his next chapter." Sitting out this season due to NCAA transfer rules, the former Wildcat never played a minute at NC State. In two years at Kentucky, Killeya-Jones averaged a combined three points per game on 58 percent shooting, 2.5 rebounds, and 0.7 blocks in just over 10 minutes per contest. He finished with a career-high 12 points against UT Martin in 2016. His most memorable moment, however, was his viral poster slam in the NCAA Tournament last season against Davidson. It was also the birth of Kentucky band sensation Hayden Hooper. https://twitter.com/KY_Clips/status/1014200669824274432 Best of luck in your future endeavors, SKJ. [mobile_ad]
