Former Kentucky WBB guard Dazia Lawrence signs with professional team in Kosovo
Dazia Lawrence, who spent one season at Kentucky, is going pro.
On Thursday, it was announced that the 5-foot-8 guard signed with KBF Peja 03, a professional team based out of Peja, Kosovo. KBF Peja 03 also plays in the Liga Unike, a professional league based out of Kosovo and Albania.
“Coming straight from the NCAA elite and part of the 2025 WNBA Draft Class, Dazia is one of the most promising rising stars in American basketball,” the club said in their signing announcement.
Lawrence averaged 12.9 points per game in her lone season in Lexington, shooting 39% from three-point range. She scored in double figures in 11 of Kentucky’s last 13 games, and against Mississippi State, put up 28 points on 7-12 shooting from beyond the arc. D-Law scored her 1,500th career point as a Wildcat as well.
