Former Kentucky WR Jordan Anthony Transfers to Arkansas

A former Kentucky Wildcat has found a new home. Jordan Anthony is attending his third SEC school in three years. On3’s Pete Nakos reports Anthony is making the move to Arkansas to play in Bobby Petrino’s offense.

Last year Jordan Anthony played for another Petrino offense in College Station. During his one season at Texas A&M the wide receiver caught three passes for 14 yards against a pair of non-conference opponents. Anthony has three years of eligibility remaining to use at Arkansas.

A 5-foot-10, 160-pound athlete from Tylertown, MS, Jordan Anthony was a coveted prospect when he signed with Kentucky in 2022. A two-sport star, the wide receiver was one of the fastest track athletes in America and a four-star talent on the gridiron.

Upon arriving in Lexington, Anthony double-dipped. He redshirted on the football field and broke school records while sprinting for the Kentucky track team. Anthony was a First Team All-American sprinter in the 60-meter class where he earned silver medals at both the SEC and NCAA Indoor Championships.

Juggling track with football did not fare well for his football career at Kentucky. He plans on participating in both sports at Arkansas. Best of luck to Mr. Anthony.

Final Day for the Transfer Portal

For almost every school in the country, today is the final day for football players to submit their name into the transfer portal. There’s an extension for teams who played bowl games later into the season, but Liberty quarterback Kaidon Salter wasted no time, hopping in the day after falling to Oregon in the Fiesta Bowl.

As of this morning 2,073 FBS players have entered the Transfer Portal.

While the NCAA Transfer Portal database is private, the On3 Network has streamlined the reporting process tracking player movement. If you find yourself asking, ‘How can I track transfer portal activity?’ our well-established network of reporters and contacts across college athletics keeps you up to speed in several ways, from articles written about players as they enter and exit the transfer portal or find their new destination, to our social media channels, to the On3 Transfer Portal.

The transfer portal wire provides a real-time feed of player activity, including basic player profile information, transfer portal ranking and original On3 Industry recruiting ranking, as well as NIL valuation (name, image and likeness).

The On3 Transfer Portal Rankings allow for you to filter the On3 Industry Rankings to find the best of the best in the portal, starting with Overall Top Players

You can dive deeper into the rankings and filter by position whether it is QuarterbackRunning BackWide ReceiverTight EndOffensive TackleInterior Offensive LineEdgeDefensive LineLinebackerCornerbackSafetyAthleteKickerPunter, or Long Snapper you’re looking for.

The On3 Transfer Portal Instagram account and Twitter account are excellent resources to stay up to date with the latest moves.
