Former Kentucky Mr. Baseball, 2nd basemen JT Riddle was selected yesterday by the Miami Marlins as the #382 overall selection in the 13th round. Pitcher Jerad Grundy was a 10th round selection by the Oakland A's, improving his selection from 26th to 10th by returning for his Senior season. Former Tates Creek standout Trevor Gott earned himself a 6th round selection from the San Diego Padres. Corey Littrell's 5th round selection by the Boston Red Sox gives the Wildcats 3 pitchers drafted this year.   Even though the season may have spun out of control towards the end, the players' are proving that you can still improve at UK to achieve your MLB dreams. These last 4 selected increase UK's number of draft picks to 55 since 2006.
