Four-Star Florida State Commit to Visit Kentucky for Ole Miss Game

The first SEC game of the season is a significant recruiting weekend for the Kentucky football program, and not just because the Wildcats will be playing a Top 20 team at 3:30 PM ET on ABC. The Wildcats have assembled an impressive guest list for the Ole Miss game, and it’s headlined by an All-American offensive lineman.
KSR has learned that Da’Ron Parks will be in Lexington for Saturday’s game. “Doodles” Parks is a four-star interior offensive lineman, ranked as the No. 399 player overall by the Rivals Industry Ranking. He spent his junior season in Florida, but transferred to Nitro, West Virginia for his senior year. He’s the top-ranked player in The Mountaineer State.
Parks was one of Eric Wolford’s top priorities during the summer recruiting season. The Wildcats got him to campus for an official visit, but were unable to seal the deal the first time around. He also visited Ohio State and Auburn before ultimately committing to play for Florida State in late July. Even though the Seminoles had arguably the best win of week one, Parks will be in Lexington for an unofficial visit in week two.
A 6-foot-4, 360-pounder, last fall Parks paved the way for a rushing attack that totaled nearly 4,000 yards on the ground. He was a part of Rivals’ Preseason All-American Team.

Wolford secured a pair of commits from offensive linemen this summer: IOL Tyreek Jemison and OT Cameron Miller. That number needs to grow prior to signing day. Parks could add some much-needed star power to the Big Blue Wall in the 2026 recruiting class.
Parks is one of more than two-dozen prospects who will be in Lexington to watch Kentucky try to knock off Ole Miss. It includes a handful of commits and plenty of talented 2027 targets from the Commonwealth. Jacob Polacheck will have a complete rundown on KSR Plus before the action kicks off Saturday afternoon.
