Friday Video Battle

by:Thomas Beisner08/15/08
Let's face it. Today is Friday and that means we're all mailing it in and heading out to relax from the long week. So, with that in mind, I'd like to introduce you to a post that I'll announce as a weekly feature but will probably be one-and-done like the high school class of 2007. Ladies and gentleman, prepare yourself for a Friday YouTube battle. This week's installment features Usher's hit song "Love In this Club". In one corner, we have Washington Wizards guard DeShawn Stevenson and a guy who may or may not be Andy Van Slyke (he's cleverly wearing a bandana over his face) taking a crack at wowing the masses with the interpretive dance method. Does it work? It's your call. Take a look. Now, we take a look at their competition, which comes in the form of the Showbiz Pizza Band who has finally decided that they will no longer live in the shadow of Chuck E. Cheese. While they might be a little past their prime, they're still bringing the pain and they provide a formidable opponent for Stevenson and the guy who may or may not be Van Slyke. Unfortunately, there are no duets to this song yet between Kige Ramsey and the Turtleman so these two videos are what we're going to roll with. And yes, that was a request Kige. Make it happen. Anyway, pick the winner below and we'll send them a shirt or something. But, probably not. Enjoy the weekend.
