Game-Time Decisions: Latest on Jeremy Flax, Tayvion Robinson

Now that kickoff is near, we have a better idea of who will be playing for the Wildcats when Kentucky hosts Mississippi State.
Jeremy Flax was sidelined for the entirety of the South Carolina game after he suffered a hamstring injury on the final drive at Ole Miss. Deondre Burford started in his place a week ago. Kentucky appears to have its starting right tackle back tonight. Flax is lining up with the first team in warm-ups. It will be just the third time in seven games the Big Blue Wall has started its top five offensive linemen.
A healthy offensive line is in Kentucky’s recipe for success against Mississippi State. The Bulldogs’ create havoc against the pass, but the 3-3-5 defense is porous against the run. Through six games, the Bulldogs rank No. 99 overall in yards per rush, No. 82 in rushing EPA, and No. 60 in rushing success rate.

Tayvion Robinson does not appear to be active against Mississippi State. The talented slot receiver took a hard shot to the leg against South Carolina and did not participate in warm-ups tonight. Robinson leads the Cats in receptions, receiving yards and receiving touchdowns. Barion Brown and Dane Key each got banged up but will be ready to play tonight at Kroger Field.
As you already knew, Will Levis is back in action and linebacker Jacquez Jones will miss his second straight game.
Go Cats. Beat State.
