Go Inside the Booth with the Voice of Kroger Field, Carl Nathe

Think of the greatest Kentucky football plays you’ve ever seen at the home of the Wildcats. They’re all accompanied by the voice of Carl Nathe.
The public address announcer for all Kentucky home football games since 1997, Nathe has been there for the many lows and highs right there with the Big Blue Nation. He brings bravado every Saturday, lifting fans to their feet for every, “FIRST DOOOOWN KENTUCKY!”
Nathe opened the doors of his booth to the fine folks of Kentucky Sports Radio for the regular season finale in Lexington against Alabama. Unfortunately, the game did not produce a similar outcome to his first Alabama game in 1997. However, you did get to see exactly how he operates on game days.
