wiltjergonzaga Going into last night's game against the 16th-ranked SMU Mustangs, the Gonzaga Bulldogs were a 12 seed in CBSNews' bracketology. After a 69-60 loss, the possibility that Mark Few's team will miss the tournament for the first time in 18 years is becoming more and more likely. Kyle Wiltjer and the Zags currently sit at 20-6, but with zero wins against ranked teams and an RPI of 60, they will likely need to win out until their conference finals to secure an at-large bid. With Wiltjer and his teammate Domantas Sabonis earning preseason All-American status, it looked like Gonzaga would ride one of the nation's best front courts to another high seeding in this year's tournament. However, while Kyle has been deadly this year (21.1 PPG, 42.0% 3pt), the Zags have failed to beat any of the quality opponents they've played so far. As a result, Gonzaga finds itself in danger of missing the field altogether. One would like to see Wiltjer avoid his second NIT, if only to escape the memories of his first one. Go 'Zags?
