There's been some complaints from Laker fans that their frontcourt has shown far too little fight in splitting four games with the New Orleans Hornets. Sounds like Derrick Caracter did his best to change that reputation. The former Card and current Laker rookie was arrested yesterday morning after "grabbing and pulling" a pregnant waitress at IHOP. The man who was once inspired by a Dunkin' Donuts application on his pillow case was charged with one count of battery for hitting the waitress, one count of public intoxication, one count of resisting arrest and 400 counts of being Derrick Caracter. He came hungry. Doesn't sound like he left happy.
And for the 237th time, he has fulfilled the Pitino prophecy.
