Kentucky transfer target Greedy Vance Jr. commits to USC

Kentucky has targeted numerous transfer cornerbacks this offseason in portal recruiting. BJ Mayes (UAB to Texas A&M), DeCarlos Nicholson (Mississippi State to USC), and Marquise Robinson (South Alabama to Arkansas) have all landed somewhere else. Another cornerback recruitment ended on Sunday night.

Florida State transfer Greedy Vance Jr. left his official visit to Lincoln Riley‘s USC program committed to the Trojans.

Greedy Vance Jr. had an official visit scheduled with Kentucky this week from April 26-28. It currently does not look like that visit will take place. The former high three-star recruit out of New Orleans (La.) Edna Karr spent his first two seasons at Louisville becoming a starter in year two at outside cornerback. Vance transferred to Florida State following the 2021 season and made the shift inside to nickel. Vance shined in the new position but decided to enter free agency during the middle of FSU’s spring practice.

If Kentucky is going to address cornerback in the transfer portal during the spring window another target will need to emerge.
