How long will the Rupp win streak last?

With Kansas' home win streak ending at a Kevin Malone-approved 69 over the weekend at the hands of Texas, attention has turned to the other longest home-court winning streaks in the nation. Or, at least, the attention of Ryan Greene over at Yahoo! Sports has turned that way. He's taken a look at the ten longest remaining home win streaks, the second-best of which belongs to your University of Kentucky Wildcats, and put odds on the streaks staying alive through the end of this season. The Cats' current streak sits at 28 consecutive wins at Rupp, behind only Duke, who has won 30 in a row in their glorified high-school gym. With the Blue Devils playing in the even-worse-than-the-SEC Atlantic Coast Conference, the odds of keeping their streak alive are the best of the big-time schools on the list, with Greene putting them at 5:3 to finish the year without falling at home. Kentucky drew a 6:1 line, broken down as follows:

Kentucky - 28 games – Next: Saturday vs. Georgia The Wildcats have already flirted with fire a handful of times this season, and the SEC right now might be the most unpredictable league in America. Like Duke, they have no ranked opponents left on the schedule, but their remaining home slate (Georgia, Tennessee, Mississippi State, South Carolina, Florida, Vanderbilt) looks a little more dangerous. Plus, the Wildcats' youth has to be taken into account here. Odds – 6:1
