If Emmanuel Mudiay had come to UK, Tom Izzo thinks he would have gotten Tyler Ulis & Devin Booker

Considering Emmanuel Mudiay didn't even come to Kentucky, we sure have talked about him a lot over the past few years. When Mudiay committed to SMU, it opened the door for Tyler Ulis to come to Kentucky, which ended up being a blessing in disguise, and it turns out Kentucky fans aren't the only people who still linger on that scenario. In an interview with the Lansing State Journal earlier this week, Tom Izzo said that had Mudiay gone to Kentucky, Michigan State wouldn't have just landed Ulis, they would have gotten Devin Booker as well:
But for each kid, there was good reason to be in – a relationship formed early, a relative nearby, signs that MSU could be the place for them. And if point guard Emmanual Mudiay had signed with Kentucky instead of SMU … “I think we would have gotten Ulis and Booker,” Izzo said.
He's probably right. Michigan State was the only other school both Ulis and Booker were considering, and they visited Lansing together right before visiting Kentucky. I feel like we say this a lot, but maybe we can't ever say it enough: thank you, Emmanuel Mudiay. [Lansing State Journal]
