Our first look at the NCAA Tournament bracket is right around the corner.

Selection Sunday is 32 days away, but you only have to wait 10 days to see where the Wildcats stand in college basketball’s pecking order. The annual college basketball Bracket Preview Show will air next Saturday, February 19 at 12:30 p.m. ET on CBS.

The Division I men’s basketball selection committee will meet to determine the Top 16 seeds as of Feb. 19. By sharing the projected top four seeds just under a month away from Selection Sunday, coaches and players get a better idea of what they need to do to rise in the rankings. Coincidentally, the Bracket Reveal Show will serve as pregame show of sorts as Kentucky hosts Alabama at 1 pm ET on CBS.

Lunardi Moves Kentucky to No. 1

ESPN’s resident bracketologist does not update his bracket everyday. However, Joe Lunardi does like to share insights on how the postseason picture changes after big days of college basketball. A win by the Wildcats and losses from Auburn and Illinois shook things up Tuesday night, moving Kentucky to a No. 1 seed.

Of course, much will change between now and Selection Sunday. What’s important to note is that a No. 1 seed remains within reach for the Wildcats. Even if UK is the fourth overall No. 1 seed, Gonzaga will prevent the Cats from traveling West, leaving the door open for a Kentucky-Duke rematch in Philadelphia on the 30-year anniversary of The Shot.
