[caption id="" align="alignnone" width="534"] Trevor Ruszkowski | USA Today[/caption] Alex Poythress has played his way out of the NBA G-League.  The Indiana Pacers announced they have signed the former Kentucky Wildcat, usurping his two-way contract with the Ft. Wayne Mad Ants. The details of Poythress' new deal were not released by the team.  He's appeared in 11 games this season.  The day after Christmas was his most complete performance for the Pacers, posting 4 points, 2 rebounds, an assist and a steal in 22 minutes of action. This year Poythress has averaged 20 points, 9 rebounds, and 2.7 assists in six G-League games to follow-up an all-league rookie season in the NBA's developmental league.  The highlights from last season feature plenty of signature Poythress slams.
