Is something brewing in Tremont Waters' Crystal Ball?
Over the weekend, four-star point guard Tremont Waters visited Kentucky, and based on the rumblings online, that visit went very well. The last seven picks in Waters’ 247 Sports Crystal Ball have been in Kentucky’s favor, giving Kentucky 54% of the predictions to Indiana’s 31%:
Don’t mistake this as a bad sign in the race for Trae Young. Kentucky will need two point guards next season, and with Young the clear priority at the position, Waters would be a good compliment. The 5’11” New Haven, Connecticut native has been compared to Tyler Ulis and is AAU teammates with five-star center Nick Richards, who Calipari is visiting tomorrow and will take an official visit to campus next weekend. All in all, sounds like a win.
