The weekend is here and with just over two weeks until Christmas, odds are you’ll spend some of it either at a holiday gathering or shopping for gifts. We have the perfect way to get you into the Christmas spirit.

Earlier this week, former Kentucky Wildcat Isaac Humphries released a Christmas album entitled, “A Merry ‘little’ Christmas” (Get it? ‘Little’ is in quotation marks because he’s tall). The album includes three covers: “O Holy Night,” “The Most Wonderful Time [Of The Year],” and “Silent Night.” Humphries, who plays for the Adelaide 36ers, has shown off his singing voice numerous times during his career, first at a piano with Shannon Spake in 2016 and later at a sold-out charity concert in Lexington and at Rupp Arena, where he sang the national anthem before the Louisville game in 2019.

Now, singing is a real side gig for the 25-year-old Humphries, who will be one of the headline acts at Adelaide Fringe, the largest arts festival in the Southern hemisphere, next March. He will perform two 75-minute shows, featuring original songs and covers. Earlier this fall, he released his debut single, “Be Alright”:

Humphries’ musical breakthrough comes one year after he publicly announced he was gay, sharing the news not only with his Melbourne United teammates but to the rest of the world in an essay on CNN. In doing so, he became the first openly gay men’s professional basketball player in the world. Last month, Humphries commemorated the anniversary in a touching post on social media.

And now, Isaac is here to croon you into the holiday spirit. Enjoy his Christmas catalog below.
