Kentucky lost another home game and another to Tennessee on Saturday night. The Big Blue Nation should be used to losing in those situations by now, but the 56-34 loss wasn’t easy to swallow because Kentucky is still winless in the SEC in 2025.

Cutter Boley looked great, so there’s that. He threw for 330 yards and five touchdowns, snapping the offense’s long streak without three-score games. The problem was the defense, which allowed 56 to the Vols, and it could’ve been more. Tennessee slid in the red zone late in the game to shut it down.

Now that it’s over, KSR’s Drew Franklin, Nick Roush, and Adam Luckett have a late-night Rapid Reaction from outside Kroger Field with takeaways from the loss. You can catch the full Rapid Reaction below, sponsored by Friends of Coal. Head over to FriendsOfCoalKentucky.org for more info.
