It's a Miracle Stephen Johnson Played Through this many Injuries

by: Nick Roush04/14/18@RoushKSR
At the conclusion of Stephen Johnson's career, the Kentucky quarterback joined KSR and revealed that he needed surgeries on both shoulders and his left knee to mend his broken body. He played through pain, but more than we could have ever expected. Johnson told Fletcher Page the surgery on his left knee was to repair a torn MCL, PCL and partially torn hamstring. He suffered those injuries against Tennessee -- two years ago. Johnson played 15 games without two ligaments in his left knee and a jacked up hamstring. Nine of them were wins, two of them were bowl games and one of them shocked the world. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yp8J1JTJs9g To play through that kind of pain is remarkable. What's even more incredible: he still was willing to sacrifice his broken body so that his team could win. https://youtu.be/pOtgYrO4w50?t=1m37s Stephen Johnson wasn't the hero Kentucky football deserved. He was the hero we needed.
