Kentucky is contender for South Florida WR Jaborree Riggins

Since Cincinnati (Ohio) Moeller quarterback Matt Ponatoski committed to Kentucky on July 6, things have been very quiet for the Cats on the recruiting trail. News started to pick up this week. UK lost a commitment from one of the top players in their class but emerged for a prospect in South Florida.
Kentucky is a contender for three-star wideout Jaborree Riggins. The Cats are expected to get a visit from the Coconut Creek (Fla.) Monarch senior at some point this football season.
“Their receivers [L’Damian Washington] coach shows a lot of love. I’m not really that close with the head coach yet, but the receivers coach shows a lot of love. I had a private workout with him in the summer,” Riggins told Rivals’ Marcus Benjamin. “We have just been keeping in touch.”

Florida, Southern Miss, and Vanderbilt were other schools currently pushing hard for the 6-foot-4 receiver. Kentucky has been pursuing Jaborree Riggins since the summer with Washington running point for the Wildcats. The class of 2026 prospect attends the same high school as Kentucky true freshman offensive lineman Bryan J. Auguste.
The Cats currently have four wide receiver commits in the 2026 class after signing five high school wideouts in the 2025 cycle. There is a logjam at the position but we are still a long way from the early signing period.
