Jamin Davis, Kelvin Joseph graded as top two Power 5 defenders this week by PFF

This is starting to feel like a weekly tradition; another batch of Wildcats drew some impressive reviews from Pro Football Focus.
According to PFF, Kentucky players Jamin Davis and Kelvin Joseph ranked as the top two defenders among all Power 5 conference players from this past week. Davis ranked first with a 92.1 rating while Joseph graded out at 91.6 for their individual efforts in the team’s epic destruction of the Tennessee Volunteers on Saturday afternoon.

Both Davis and Joseph returned interceptions for touchdowns on back-to-back possessions. Joseph brought one back to the house to start things off with a 41-yard return early in the second quarter before Davis ran back an 85-yard pick for another score on the next Vol possession.

Davis finished his impressive day with 12 tackles, five of them solo, to go along with his pick-6. Bossman Fat, who has received plenty of criticism over the first few weeks of the season, responded with arguably his best outing as a Wildcat, recording four tackles (two solo) in addition to a pass deflection and his pick-6.
