On Tuesday, John Calipari went to visit three 2024 recruits up in the northeast. One is already committed to Kentucky — four-star point guard Boogie Fland — while the other two — five-star shooting guard VJ Edgecombe and four-star wing Billy Richmond — are considered top targets for the Wildcats.

After Calipari teased his recruiting path following Monday’s win over Saint Joseph’s, we knew that he’d be back on the trail Wednesday night to watch four more of his favorite prospects. And now we know who the head coach went to see in action. According to 24/7 High School Hoops, Calipari and assistant Orlando Antigua were at Columbus Columbus High School (FL) to check out a quartet of recruits that hold offers from the ‘Cats in a high-profile showdown on ESPNU.

Those players are as follows: five-star small forward AJ Dybantsa (’25; No. 1 overall), five-star power forward Cameron Boozer (’25; No. 2), four-star point guard Cayden Boozer (’25; No. 14), and five-star star small forward Tyran Stokes (’26; No. 1). The Boozer twins suited up for Christopher Columbus while Dybantsa and Stokes ran with Prolific Prep.

Calipari and Antigua were treated to a show, too. Columbus came back from down seven in the final 55 seconds of regulation to win in overtime, 81-78. They did so without Cameron Boozer too, who fouled out right before that end-of-game run. Instead, it was Cayden Boozer who fueled the comeback, including a three-pointer that made it a one-point game with roughly seven seconds in regulation. Michigan State signee Jase Richardson then banked in a triple at the buzzer to force overtime.

Cayden Boozer led Columbus with 25 points, five assists, and six steals on 9-21 overall shooting. Before fouling out, Cameron Boozer finished with 13 points (4-9 FG), 13 rebounds, two steals, and one block. The twin brothers announced scholarship offers from Kentucky back in May and then took their first-ever official visits to UK in September. They’ve since visited the likes of Miami (FL), Florida, and Duke.

As for Dybantsa and Stokes, both announced offers from Kentucky just this week. They hold significant ties to Kentucky as well — Dybantsa grew up idolizing the late Terrence Clarke while Stokes was born in Louisville. Dybantsa recently reclassified from 2026 to 2025 and is now ranked No. 1 overall in his class while Stokes is No. 1 overall in the 2026 class. Dybantsa led both teams with a game-high 35 points.
