Seth Greenberg brought the man, the myth, the hair John Robic on the show this morning to get an update on the program. After reminiscing about last season's incredible run for a little bit, Greenberg and Robic talked about the current squad, which arrived on campus this week for summer school. "Today was the first day of class, they're in class now," Robic said. "They're going through their physicals, going through all the testing right now. Once they get cleared physically, we're able to spend that two hours per week with them on the court and the six additional hours of conditioning and weightlifting." Even though it's only been a few days, Robic said the team is already putting in extra work on their own at the Joe Craft Center. "The special thing about these kids is you can see the time they spend on their own that we're not allowed to be there because they have access to the Craft Center. They're over here all the time," Robic said. How's Alex Poythress' rehab coming along? "He's looking great right now. I know he's doing some things running wise and in the pool, obviously supervised," Robic said. "The last report we got is things are looking good. Doing a little bit of shooting but really not off the move right now. We're being careful with him right now." When asked when Poythress would be back on the court with the team, Robic was hesitant to give a time table, but guessed it would be another few months. Keep it up, boys.
